CluckZone is a friendly guide to backyard chicken rules, town by town.

How we check

• We only fill in a town after reading its official ordinance or an official town page.
• Every town page quotes the rule, links to the source, and shows the date we checked.
• If we haven't verified a town, it says Not yet verified. We never fill gaps with guesses.
• Where the ordinance doesn't say something (like whether a coop needs a permit), we say that instead of assuming.
